Coupling Torque Limiter
(also known as Torque Limiter, Safety Coupling)
Slip Torque:21 KN.m
A coupling torque limiter is a protective device installed between the motor and the load. When overload, jamming, or impact occurs in the transmission system, it automatically cuts off or limits torque transmission, thereby protecting the safety of the motor, reducer, working machine, and operators.
Working Principle
The coupling torque limiter is internally set with a preset torque value. When the load torque exceeds this value, it will act in the following ways:
Slipping
Disconnection
Shear pin fracture
Disengagement of balls or rollers
After actuation, torque transmission is cut off or limited, and the equipment stops or idles, thus avoiding damage.
